Have you ever seen a sheep standing on its hind legs? Here it is. These two nice guys – called “Uhu” and “Bärli” – belong to the species called “Braunköpfiges Fleischschaf (BFS)” (what a terrible name for such a sweet creature) which is not uncommon in Switzerland.

At the Loisium

This grand organ is located at the collegiate church of the “Stift Göttweig”. I was there during the Loisium project and enjoyed very much the impressive buildings, fabulous Austrian cooking and the wonderful view down to the Danube valley. Some day I would like to play this organ!

I came accross this wonderful spiral staircase at the “Stift Melk” during our journey through Niederösterreich. On the floor in the middle of the spiral was a round mirror. I put the camera on this mirror heading upwards and used the automatic release.
